Diagnostic Value of Hematological Parameters in COVID-19 Patients

Background: Covid-19 was fulminant and had a rapid spread in China many other areas around the globe. This is life threatening problem at present as it causes severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus (SARS-CoV). Aim: To explore diagnostic value of hematological parameters COVID-19 patients. Study Design: Comparative Cross-Sectional Study. Methodology: Patients (n=200) having were enrolled. All patients CBC inflammatory markers. Various markers used prognostic SPSS software, v 23 analyzed data. Independent t-test Chi square applied p <0.05 taken significant. Results: Mean age for COVID 47± 15.48 years. values platelet count significantly low among when compared with non-COVID thus significant difference. Practical Implication: study highlighted simple, cost-effective that can be useful tools COVI-19. indicated routine tests guide towards disease like COVID-19.
